Life { Faith } Tea

and ramblings on everything in between

What I’m About

Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where I share what God is doing for me and to me and through me. This blog is a journey in learning how to be more like Him, with a dollop of life lessons and a splash of tea.

With every action, word, and prayer, my soul longs to one day hear the sweetest seven words imaginable:

“Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

Most days (i.e. every day), I fall short of this. But I see no shame in picking myself up, dusting myself off, and trying harder. After all, life is a continuous journey that leaves us never quite grown. There are growing highs and growing lows and growing pains and growing joys. But we’re growing through it all, and that gives me great hope.

Here are a few tidbits about me:

– I couldn’t win a spelling bee to save my life

– I would be an octopus if I could be any other creature

– I’d rather be reading than doing anything else

– I think washing dishes is therapeutic

– I’m fluent in dog and child

– Kindness is my default

It’s good to see you. Feel free to hang out for awhile.

– Ashlee Ayers

Thank you, Tony! That is kind of you to say. It’s always hard as a writer to hit publish each week and put a part of yourself out there for the world to see. But getting to connect with other writers and encouraging each other makes it all worth it. Thanks again for stopping by. – Ashlee
